Kamena Lodge is located in an old stone villa on the slopes of the Mosor Mountain, and only ten minutes by car from the centre of Split.
Guests have full access to our private swimming pool. Sun loungers and hammocks await weary explorers.
Our old stone villa has been completely renovated but still maintains its charm and originality.
All our rooms (including the dormatory) have en-suite bathrooms containing w.c, basin and shower.

We are ideally placed to offer you a relaxing atmosphere where you can unwind and relax in a hammock, or sun bed, next to a private pool.
Use us as a base whilst you explore the islands of Hvar, Brac, Solta and Ciovo which are all within easy reach by ferry. Perhaps you prefer the Roman history of Salona and Solin that surround us or maybe you are coming for the nightlife, shops and boutiques that are nestled into the ancient Roman Diocletian's Palace, now the centre of Split itself. Also nearby are day trips to Omis a pirate town, Trogir a medieval town or Makaska, Dalmatia's riviera.
Whatever your reasons for escaping, let us make your break as memorable as possible.

Kamena Lodge is Excellent!
The hosts Ann and Glynn both add character and fun to the hostel and ensure that all their guests are made very welcome.
We had the most amazing honeymoon at Kamena Lodge.
Glynn and Anne were the perfect hosts and the lodge had a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
It was nice to be able to spend time as a couple when we wanted and to have good company in the evening at The Lodge.
